The Bonavista College Sinhala Literature and Arts Festival was held with great pomp at the main hall of the college with the participation of award-winning writer Dr. Sumithra Rahubadda and the Divisional Secretary of Kadawathsatara, Galle and many distinguished guests. The book launch of two students of the college and the launch of the annual magazine ‘Theertha’ produced by the Sinhala section also took place on this day. This art festival, which was colorful with many local cultural demonstrations, was more colorful with the participation of the children of the college as well as a number of invited schools. This was organized by the Sinhala section of the college under the supervision of the Head of the Sinhala section, Mr. Wasantha Wijeratne.
